The Trout Population figured out she could burrow under the covers next to me on the heated mattress pad and has been doing it regularly ever since

which is great except for the one time that she burrowed under there and then tubby flopped down above her before she could stick her head back out, so when i went to get into bed i scooted tubby over and lifted up the covers and got so jumpscared i shrieked
