Gretchen & mishka. I have met all sorts of lovely and weird people thru my rescue and TNR of cats. This is one such story. These two kittens (then) were adopted twice and returned ! If u understand animal behavior then you'll know, its quite traumatic for them to spend 1month at one place then be moved - then spend 10 days at one place then be moved. Its distressing for them. Finally, We had decided that both of them would be adopted together - an aristrocrat lady, in a chauffeur driver Rolls Royce visited us one afternoon but when she got to the villa, she insisted to adopt only Gretchen. Her well-dressed and suited secretary kept worrying with my rejections while the lady persisted to adopt only Gretchen. Finally she snapped and demanded she would pay any amount to have him !!! She flashed her gold plated IPhone and showed me, her instagram for the other two persians she had at home - with over 40,000 followers, each (meanwhile i had less than 100 !!! for my craft blog ) (almost seemed like a movie script !) That day, I stood my ground & refused to seperate these two siblings. Till date, these two love sleeping close to eachother, although we have many other cats who get along famously. But these two prefer eachother. Sometimes, i feel guilty; maybe he would have had a luxurious life there but pictures like this make me believe - it was the sane thing to do.
