DC (Doom-Cat) Snippet
Some fluff to make up for the angst that was posted on my v/ore side blog. Also, this is unedited. I am tired.
Contains: Food mention. Non violent, non sexual, unconsentual handling.

After that horrible first impression, the Slayer had been determined to befriend the little mouse.
Turns out that the best way to earn the trust of a tiny person was to feed them well and often. Luckily during his last run on the surface he had managed to find a fair amount of food, so that mixed with the crops growing in the green house made for a happy little mouse man. It was honestly just the cutest thing, watching him eat. Especially now that Vega told him the little guy’s name.
Warren. Such a cute name.
Currently the little man was sitting on a folded blanket, nibbling his way through a cracker. The Slayer had already eaten his fill- careful not to spook poor Warren - and was lounging in his blanket nest, watching.
Warren set the cracker down and took a sip of water from his canteen. He sighed softly and glanced up. “Uhm… so, is your name actually Slayer? I know it’s what Vega calls you, but I was just wondering.”
He shook his head. He knew at one point he did have a name other than Slayer or Doom, but he guessed a name like that must be pretty scary for a little guy like that. He thought for a moment about what he would like to be called and then started to sign. ‘Call me Johnny.’
“Johnny?” Warren tilted his little head. “That’s a… nice name.”
‘Thank you.’ He gave Warren a sly smile and leaned in close. ‘You’re really cute.’
Warren swallowed softly. “T-thank you.”
‘Don’t be embarrassed.’ He carefully reached out and gently patted his head with a finger. After a moment he gathered the tiny man up in his paw. ‘C-u-t-i-e.’
It was fun seeing that tiny little face go bright red.
The Slayer laid on his back and set the little guy down on his chest. After a little shifting to get comfortable, he glanced down. Warren was clinging to his shirt, face bright red.
‘Flustered?’
“Y-yeah.” Warren turned around so he wasn’t facing him. He could see that cute little tail stretched out behind his tiny body. He refrained from grabbing at it or picking him up by it. He didn’t want to freak the poor little guy out again.
A soft purr started up in his chest.
