What sacrifices would you require for more Quinn/Kingston/Leo ship art? The college AU stuff got me shipping it, but all of the Yearning in the comic proper is just making me crave it more. If even for a moment, I just want to live in the world where those three made it work
haha! I have some ship art, but I didn't want to post too much Q/K/L. Who knows, maybe those idiot 30-something clowns can make it work. :p
Which of her kids does Quinn think is the cutest?
Don't make a mother choose!
They each take the cutest spot in Quinn's heart at different times. Anyway, it's usually Red. But only because she's the baby and 7-year-olds tend to be cuter than smelly teenagers.
Boring fun fact: Red was inspired by my niece who was 6 and v cute when she was created. Now she's a smelly teen who's graduating 8th grade today.
Trick or treat! Give me the worst candy you have.
Happy Halloween! You asked for this!

HEY, EVERYONE!
You might know me as the creator of the all-ages solarpunk comedy adventure, Key to the Future’s Fate! But now, that’s not all I’ll be producing!
I’ve been hired on as the writer for the space station sitcom taking place in David Davis’ Cosmic Dash universe: GALACTIC HUB SERREVEN!
As of posting, it’s just getting started, but I’ll be posting more about it in the future! If you enjoy my sense of humor and heart, I strongly recommend checking it out! There is also an prose prelude, but the comic acts as a fresh start point!
Finally, I’d like to extend a huge thanks to any and all of you that help me spread the word of the new project I’m working on! Have a good one!
Do you remember how you first came up with the idea for Boxing Bugs? I know it's still early into the comic's life, but are there any ways you can share that the comic has changed since its inception?
The idea for Boxing Bugs first started out as wanting to come up with a game, actually. I had an idea of something to do with bugs and thought of army ants. I was doing some practice sketches of how I wanted them to look like and, for whatever reason, I drew a random ant with boxing gloves. It was then when people suddenly grew interested in that ant did they suggest a rival (Rumble), and I grew attached to the two insects and started thinking of a story.
The first version of the comic was originally a short story of the two I quickly started sketching out. It was about Tap and Rumble challenging a popular boxer after defeating an opponent by cheating. By the time I finished the first four pages the idea and story had grown much more and I realized I needed to completely start over to really tell a better and new story. There’s a key idea from the original story that carries over to the comic now, but everything else has changed from that point.
That was a lot haha, but yeah it has grown so much within a year of first starting!
Throwback Tap and Rumble for nostalgia
What does Eggman /WANT/, exactly? Like, in general? He definitely seems egotistical, since everything has to be "Egg[something]", and he's often building armies of robots. But what's his endgame? World domination (like in a Lawful Evil or Neutral Evil sense)? How come so many of his plans involve awakening planet-shattering forces of darkness? I've seen him help defeat the very creatures /he/ summoned, so he seems to have a conscience. What are your thoughts, Clockie?
So a big fat disclaimer here that Sonic’s worldbuilding is like... a terrifying kudzu of largely self-contained branches that don’t add up so this and any exercise in Sonic worldbuilding involves taking a pastiche of what you like, and nowhere is this more obvious than with Eggman.
The chronologically oldest concept of Eggman basically set up the conflict of the series as nature vs. technology, with Eggman representing the latter extreme. You can see this in a lot of early continuities, especially Sonic SatAM, which depicted “Robotnik” as cybernetic himself and someone who consistently hated all animal life, and thus wanted to capture it all and force it, at gunpoint if need be, into his “Roboticizer” to turn it into mindless mechanical slaves.
Suffice to say, though, the Roboticizer’s never been gameverse canon, and my personal favorite version of Eggman is rooted in his backstory as mentioned in Sonic Adventure 2.
