Catelyn is such a well written character like every time i reread one of her povs, I am just completely shocked. Holy shit, how can a character be this well developed and have such realistic emotions? I am obsessed with the concept Grrm talked about, how instead of giving the king a pov, he chose to write about his mother and her perspective on a war where her son is the leader. It is just so visceral reading her witness what happens to her kids, especially since she is incredibly smart and has impeccable political insight, yet they still do not listen to her, which ultimately leads to the massive tragedy at the end
