I think Zack’s 17 or 18 here, given that he’s 19 when Nibelheim happens and 24 when he dies, iirc. But then, I’m not sure we’re given an exact amount of time between Modeoheim and Nibelheim, now that I think of it. I’ve just given it roughly a year and rolled with it. :Va (dammit Square, why can’t you be more precise in your official timelines? B|)
I tend to have an internal timeline that I work with for all my canon and fanwork stuff, which goes by the principle that the events of Crisis Core (between the opening training mission and Nibelheim) happen over a period of about two years, approximate.
This is going by the wiki, which puts Zack’s age as ‘16-23’ in Before Crisis and Crisis Core.
So... actually, yeah, he might well be 17, and then another year and past his birthday would lead to him being around 19? So... yeah. He’s still young, though. That still stands.
(And I am so damn used to people trying to tell me my timeline is wrong and I am also rather annoyed whenever I think someone’s trying to go ‘but sweetie that’s wrong’ so... I have a reflexive ‘oh boy not this again’ reaction whenever I see Age Discourse potentially come up. Which is why I went ‘actually... huh, yeah, you could be right’.)

Great question! While I can’t think of any specific blogs at this point, I did some sleuthing and found a few things that you may enjoy.
-Check out the “Poly July” tag for a lot of poly content posted this summer. I see some Disney, Overwatch, and Percy Jackson femslash content at first glance, so I bet there’s a lot more great stuff! And though there’s less content, the “Multiamory March” tag has some good stuff, too.
-If you enjoy reading fic, there’s a yearly holiday fic exchange called Holly Poly for all different types of poly ships. The entire AO3 collection has well over 20 fics tagged as F/F, and I’m sure there’s a lot more in the “multi” tag as well.
I’ll leave this open to our followers for recommendations as well. Followers, do you know of any good poly blogs? Let us know and we’ll post them in the “request” tag.

Ah well I’m glad to know it is A THING at least. I actually really do like Moana x Maui too (who says our budding chieftess can’t be bisexual, right? ;). But back to Moana x Te Fiti: that whole end sequence with Moana giving the goddess back her heart while singing that tears-inducing song was just straight-up romantic as fuck. IDK if the writers intended for those undertones to be there, but they were there (the multiple bouts of snuggling between goddess and chieftess solidified it for me). And I will DEFINITELY hit you up if I find some goodies for them ;) I’m going to start raiding the tags after work tomorrow. In fact I suspect whatever free time I have over the Memorial Day weekend will be spent hunting for fic (like I said: I’m officially obsessed).
