It would be the guitar work of a guitarist named Catfish that would go onto be sampled by over 200 hip hop artists including this week’s artist, Public Enemy alum, Professor Griff.
In his title track for the album Pawns in the Game, Griff lifts the fiery Catfish Collins (older brother to Bootsy) guitar solo and puts it into infinite loop to provide a raucous backdrop for his militant aggrolyrics.
