I just watched a Dodo video and my hatred for pet owners just keeps growing, lol.
The video was about a guy who adopts a dog claimed to be aggressive by previous owners. A LOT of people in the comment section talked bad about the previous owners saying they lied about the dog's aggressiveness or they probably mistreated the dog into being aggressive.
I don't get these people. They don't like it if we abandon dogs on the streets. They also don't like it if we send them to the shelter, albeit with a white lie. I'm wondering what option do pet owners have once they decide not to have pets anymore, especially if their friends/relative are not willing to adopt them? There's no winning with these people.
One person said something about getting out of a relationship where your partner doesn't like the pet they own. Someone criticized that, saying it's crazy. But the majority disagreed with him. I was like ¿¿??.
Why are people prioritizing pets over their partners/spouses?
More like - why did these people enter into a relationship anyway? If their pets are so special/important/are such perfect companions, then they don't need another human to fulfill their needs right? Just marry the pet, have babies with it, sleep with it and eat with it. I mean, they're halfway there.
