So right after the shows opening for Son Volt I️ went straight into getting things ready at our shop @clubduquette for the holiday season and that included prepping for our 1 year anniversary/holiday party. I’m not sure if I️ can even type out on a phone what this means to me. We have wanted this shop for a long time. It’s always been about more than having a retail shop. I️ wanted a gathering place for community, a space where everyone is welcome and can feel loved and hopefully inspired. Well last night we threw this party thanks to @levis and @topodesigns and @catheadvodka and my brother @onefeatherpress! Sorry I’m posting a post party post but I’m insanely grateful for everyone involved. There are so many folks who help us every day through advice and wise counsel that without them we would not exist at all. Thank you @nycdogsoldier and @iamdevonabbott for believing in our shop. I️ wish y’all could have both been here for the party. It was a dream come true to have Levi’s and Topo Designs sponsor our get down. I’ve worn Levi’s my whole life and will carry Topo bags for ever. We have an amazing art show up now from @byronsonnier so come look and buy some of his bold pieces. @ladylegsband And @lovelookingatmoor Brought the good vibe tribe out in full force and provided a beautiful soundtrack to the evening. Last on this Saturday morning ramble before I️ get ready to go clean up and reset the shop, thank you to all of our clients. Each and every one if you matters to us. We love all of you and we could do what we do without y’all. Oh and don’t worry I️ am still releasing a new album and more next year.
