Sally was finishing up the last couple of things in her place: leaving food behind for Salene, making sure her dishes were washed, and everything was organized as should be (she really was far too restless).
Giving a final goodbye to her Dalmatian she left her place heading over to the church.
The redhead has been going over there frequently helping Claude out with the church. She rather enjoyed spending time with the Father even when she never really liked the church itself. It was a feeling that was creeping in now as Sally saw the familiar tall ceilings and catholic architecture of the building. The church, particularly the catholic church, always came with bad memories attached to it.
Exorcism, harsh judgement, staring eyes, isolation.... it was never a place that welcomed Sally. Daniel himself didn’t enter whenever the ginger came to visit Claude, he always left as she entered the front doors. If anything that was bonus about these visits, most ghosts didn’t linger around the church. The soft whispers were hardly there, it was quiet... It allowed her mind to be at ease when often times it couldn’t be even when she was sleeping (or trying to).
Sally entered the building waving goodbye to Daniel as she stepped in. It was quiet, she could hear the echoes of her own footsteps as she walked down the aisle now spotting Claude. She smiled at him.
“How are you?” The question was asked gently, knowing that he has been going through a lot since the very first time they met. “I um... thought I’d make a visit... I wasn’t doing anything.... if umm you won’t mind the company?”
