wait tell me more about trans catholic dex (i too am projecting and want to hear more)

oh my goodness okay. i have a lot of feelings about this. and they are...not happy. like...lots of self hate. 

so Dex was raised Catholic, and he can’t shake it. he’s tried to convert, or even just stop going to mass but he can’t. 

he hates himself, when he’s at mass he hates himself because he’s gay when he’s not at mass he hates himself because he’s trans, his faith makes him hate himself and he doesn’t know how to deal with that. it’s not like it’s always at the front of his mind it comes in waves

he’s spent a lot of time praying to wake up a straight cis girl. 

being gay throws him for a loop. when he dates boys is that a sin? acting on homosexuality is a sin (so he’s been told) but does God see him as a girl? if so dating boys is....a good thing right? but he’s NOT a girl and he sure as fuck hopes God doesn't think he’s a girl. 

he cries every time he goes to mass. he can not get though “How Great Thou art” with out sobbing. 

he cries when he prays because he’s so scared,he doesn’t know what to do. how to be right but he can’t tell anyone. the Church will throw him out and everyone else just tells him to leave. no one gets it and he feels horribly alone.
