All Dominican Saints

Not to be confused with saints from the Dominican Republic. This memorial commemorates members of the Dominican Order. It's founder Dominic de Guzman, the anchorite Rose of Lima, Third Order member Catherine of Siena, and missionary Hyacinth of Cracow (Poland) are the most famous members of the Dominican Order remembered this day. Other less well known Dominicans include Bl. Columba of Rieti, Bl. Dominic of the Rosary who died a martyr in Nagasaki, and Marina of Omura, a Japanese saint martyred for her faith
