trying to re-learn drawing this guy. I swear sometimes you draw a character once and can never recreate their face shape again smh

Zane is, in fact, my favourite. I really relate to their season 1-2 character (wonder what that says about me) so I decided to employ the scraps of my motivation to recreate a clip of the Home episode (bit of a misnomer for the Zane-centered episode if you ask me)
This is more or less my first attempt at a comic strip so ignore any inconsistencies

I finally post the second page; congrats me!
There's some things I would probably touch up if I wasn't so damn sick of opening this drawing file, but nevertheless I like how it came out. (I made the lighting more exuberant because otherwise it felt kind of dull, and I think that that in turn drained my exuberance)
Also, I realized I'm really struggling with keeping my Zane and Cole consistent design-wise, so I might make some unrelated sketches to work on them.

improved the colours on this mf even tho I dunno if I'm going to change the design more or not. also, purple eyes. no reason other than they look nice

*throttles him* This guy was one hell of a nightmare to design. I jumped from white and blue tortie, to red/black/white tortie, to beige tabby, truly infuriating but, alas, I'm satisfied with how zi came out. The overall messiness and various littered scars really fit xir personality imo AND the little tail nub?? absolutely in love with that. When I saw the Manx cat I just knew I had to make him one ááᢠð

The soft rock legend himself. Absolutely *enamoured* with how I've managed to portray him; large and looming yet fluffy and friendly.
He doesn't have many scars because he fights using his strength and size to his advantage but the occasional cut can still be found somewhere under that mountain of fur.
Ideally he would've been solid black with a white locket marking but I for the life of me can't make such a simple design + I wanted to incorporate his Earth Punch arms from season 7 (I made those red tabby markings because I didn't like how he looked with an orange shade) soooo he's a sunkissed brown-black cat ð€ð€ð€ with minimal red tabby mixed in there.
