Bay Cat Catopuma badia
A small wild cat endemic to the island of Borneo. It inhabits dense tropical forests, and has been observed in rocky limestone outcrops and in logged forest, and close to the coast. The bay cat is one of the least studied of the world's wild cats. In central Sarawak, only one individual was recorded in more than a year of camera trapping between August 2010 and November 2011. The estimated population is fewer than 2500.
