I was thinking -Yato says that his father has survived all these years by some kind of divine possession, I wonder if he does this by looking for people who have the same ability as Hiyori(i.e., the ability to separate their soul from their body) and possesses their body and feed the real soul to the ayakashis. I am wondering whether that's what happened to the real Fujisaki.

It certainly is interesting to think about! But what we know about possession kind of contradicts that, I think. We know that Yato was able to gain access to Hiyori’s body due to their bond. (In other words, it was Hiyori who gave Yato permission to, despite that not being her intention.)

Assuming the method that Father uses is the same, (and going by Uve’s theory of Father being a monk!!) he probably promised Fujisaki a path of Enlightenment or something in return for his body. Maybe the kid was already religious and Father extorted that to his advantage? While I wouldn’t put it past him, I’m certainly keeping other options open. Uve talks a little bit about some possibilities on why he can possess people, too.

I suspect the REAL Fujisaki is long gone, probably. Assuming his soul is no longer in his body, it’s probably died considering it’s separation from his vessel at this point.

Hi I'm new to the noragami fandom and may I ask what happened to Adachi-sensei? Is he alright?

Hi and welcome!!! Since April (last issue published in March) noragami has been on indefinite hiatus while the author recovers from illness. Adachitouka is actually two women, but we don’t know which is ill or what they have. Not much is known about the mangaka, to be honest ^^;

Is it canon that shoto likes cats?

I don’t remember if it was confirmed on his character profile or not, but it certainly seems to be the case from all the sketches! I’d guess that it qualifies as omake-canon?

I think that in that every moment she wasn’t much about distracting him. I definitely think Saiko does genuinely love Urie. BUT the question is whether it’s platonic/brother-sister kind of love or romantic. I’m really not sure about this. So far, there hasn’t been any clear sign of romantic feelings from Saiko and personally, I always only saw a brother-sister relationship between them but the line between romantic and platonic love is very thin actually and I’d be ok if she really does have romantic feelings for Urie. It wasn’t clear in the japanese wording either so we’ll have to wait and see.
