Perfuma didn’t say anything to that, she just returned to her seat and focused on her meditations again, though in all honesty she wasn’t going to be meditating at all now, instead thinking just how pleasant those lips had felt. She wasn’t ever going to bite the bait Catra put out for her like that, because she knew meditation wasn’t an instant answer, but it helped put things in perspective and relax her......

Though this time all it did was make her wonder if she might be able to get a kiss again from her. She was truly very.....ahem. A slight shake of her head, “It was because you clearly wanted my attention. That’s all.”

Consider: maybe there was never a race like Hordak or Horde Prime. Maybe Prime was originally a very different creature, but with each iteration of his main vessel, he “improved” upon his physiology until he could no longer be considered the same as whatever species he originated from

oh, no, i don’t think that there is a “prime-like” species, since we can see how many clone bodies he’s gone through over the centuries. he has definitely evolved and improved upon himself. he’s put EFFORT into becoming the “ultimate being,” blah, blah, blah. but there was still a starting point. there was still something. 

and i am going to eat an ENTIRE FRIDGE, unhinge my jaw like a snake and devour this metal food-cooler, because the clones deserved better.

      Catra might be right, after all --- perhaps she had hit her head too hard when she fell, and that sword was nothing but her mind playing tricks at her. Why did it felt so real, then? Even after their return, Adora hadn’t been able to focus completely on anything; the weird sword, shining brightly in the forest, would always come back to occupy her thoughts, calling to her for reasons unknown. Even if it had been there, it was just a sword; there was no reason to concern herself so much with it. Then why wouldn’t it leave her mind?

      Adora! a moment of distraction and it was as if the whispers she heard then called her name again; the blonde jumped slightly, startled, before blue eyes met her friend’s figure. It took Adora a few seconds to be fully aware of her surroundings, rationalizing she had simply been distracted when Catra called her name. It was nothing; there were no whispers nor magic disappearing swords. Surely, it had to be the fall she suffered earlier.

      “Hm?” She appears somewhat aloof, mind still not completely there. Forcing herself to aim attention at Catra, Adora continued, apologetic in voice as much as in words. “Sorry, I didn’t really catch what you were saying.”
