ATLANTA | Cattle roundup over: Last cow caught weeks after truck crash
ATLANTA— Officials say a cow that hoofed it for two weeks on the lam after a livestock truck overturned on a busy interstate junction north of Atlanta has been caught.
News outlets report 89 cows initially escaped when the tractor-trailer wrecked before dawn on Oct. 1 on a cloverleaf linking Interstate 75 with Interstate 285. Eleven cows died in the crash.

Surveillance: Cops called - #Vegas Cattle Roundup @ Clark County. NV 'Poo Plant'
'Herd' about this one? While the Southern Nevada cattle battle of Bundy vs BLM has been making headlines 80 miles north, this seems to have slipped under the radar. Security Cam video from Clark County, NV shows cattle storming the gates and the police and pickup truck roundup at the 'Poo Plant' (their term) on April 9 2014, around 5:30 AM.
The Las Vegas Water Reclamation District Main Plant is on the east end of Flamingo Ave, often called the 'Flaming O' by us Vegas locals. Yes, it's that famous street that runs through the center of the Las Vegas Strip. While the grounds do back to the Las Vegas Wash and Wetlands, this gate is in an area surrounded on 3 sides by plans of homes. How on earth did they get there? Well no explanation, and even the county's YouTube description asks "Anyone out there missing any cattle?"
Now don't get me wrong, I live in one of Las Vegas's Equestrian Communities, so not unusual to see horse traffic around our Las Vegas home, and yes where I live has an awesome view of the Strip. But Cattle? Umm, not so much.
Now Olivia Newton-John did just open her show at Flamingo. Could this be a publicity stunt by her former co-star, John Travolta? Maybe he's going to open his Vegas own 'Urban Cowboy' show. Then again, maybe it's our own Vegas Urban Cowboy who plays Gilley's Las Vegas, Montana Boy & Country Rocker Sam Riddle.
