Rowan sighed as he buried his face into his hands. Same library, same chair, same books for two hours and still felt no where closer understanding the unit his class was on in animal languages. It was his worst class for a reason.
Well, for now, anyway.. he thought to himself, grip on his pen tightening as he tried to force his energy and determination to spike.
The library was nearly empty, with maybe only a handful of people who had the somewhat same idea Rowan did. That gave him the perfect studying environment in his own little secluded corner.
A few minutes ticked by before Rowan heard a noise that sounded like a stack of books falling from behind the bookshelf next to where he was studying. The ruckus made his concentration break. He snapped his head up in mild annoyance.
Calm yourself, Ro. Whoever caused that doesn’t mean to disrupt you and probably doesn’t even know you’re here… he tried to remind himself. It mostly worked, though he couldn’t help but feel a tad irritated.
Part of Rowan wanted to shrug it off and get back on track, but a much unfortunately larger curious part of him wanted to see what made the sound. With one last look at his paper, he sighed and stood up, ducking into the row of books.
“Hello?” Rowan called out as quietly as he could. It was a library after all.
((This little silly’ll probably have his own rp acc eventually buuuuut in the meantime I’ll be using my main. All the details that r important as of rn are his full name is Rowan Mallory, he’s a first year in pomefiore, and he’s twisted from the rose in beauty and the beast. I will have more info one him once I drop the rp acc but it’s almost 2 am and I’m so fcking tired- Can u rp with Soren pls?))
A blur of blue and grey seemed to spin by before it materialized into a fellow student. He giggled, head tilting as he floated around aimlessly. His eyes met Rowan's the purple swirls seeming to move on their own before stopping.
"I was wondering when the wilting rose would notice my arrival~"
He purred with utmost interest, slowly placing his feet on the ground and stretching like a cat lazing about.
"You truly have no clue what you're seeking, do you? Watching your struggle has given me much joy, heheheeee."
He didn't bother with introductions or anything of the sort. Explaining himself would be boring and not an interesting topic, after all. And all he was truly focused on was causing torment to the other students.
