I don't really agree with the sentiment that Poseidon is love-bombing Percy because like

He is barely allowed to see Percy, of course he's gonna dote on him in the few instances (usually for quests that Poseidon cant control) he can.

But I am open to people actually showing proof of it being love-bombing and not just loving your kid.
