Sweet Hope, is a 10 month old stray that arrived to us a week ago after she was rescued and living in a shelter. After rescuing her we discovered that she was pregnant. Unfortunately, Hope had to go back to the vets today due to complications and lost all her puppies. She had to have surgery and it appeared to be a great success but we received a call this evening and was told she had internal bleeding due to a blood disorder or blood clot. We immediately had to transport her on a doggie stretcher to the Emergency Vet ER to be monitored very closely and receive a blood transfusion. The cost of this has already exceeded over $2,500 and there will be additional expenses. We need help to recuperate those costs so we can continue to help dog's just like Hope by providing them with the medical attention they need.
If 300 people donated just $5 that would have been used towards their Starbucks coffee on a Saturday morning, it would help us with some of the cost with the surgery and blood transfusion.
This weekend please keep Hope and her recovery in your thoughts, her medical journey is not over as of yet, but we know that she has a village of people standing behind her and cheering for a full recovery. We love this little girl who is part of our rescue family!
