Sam Golbach & Katrina Stuart / Former Relationship Mood Board
Top Row:
1. It was a relationship formed on a friendship. A relationship formed when Katrina was only 15, Sam being 18. It was much too soon for something so serious.
2. So Katrina broke it off. She needed to find herself, even after nearly four years, and knew that was what was best for her. Hurting Sam was never in the plan but sometimes it happens.
3. He treated her well, though. He wasn’t an awful boyfriend. Katrina knows that love is better saved for someone else.
Middle Row:
4. During her vacation with Derek, Sam chose to make things a living hell. He messaged her constantly, told her it should have been him on that vacation, that he deserved her more than Derek. Katrina blocked him on everything and decided she would unblock him when they returned home and he’d had a chance to learn his place.
5. Caution should have been taken.
6. It took her ages to actually cut things off for fear of hurting Sam.
Bottom Row:
7. The last thing Katrina said to Sam before leaving.
8. A sketch from Katrina’s journal from a few months after the breakup.
9. In the end, Katrina still loves Sam as a very close friend and hopes that time will ease the pain he feels when he sees her with Derek.
