I believe that mado (the creator) has confirmed it (albeit mostly through memes and the like but i think it counts), plus a lot of stuff in protoviolence - particularly the way he's talked about in terms of intelligence and tendencies during class - feels like it heavily implies neurodivergency, can especially say that he reads in a way that feels very relatable to me as an autistic person... so i THINK canon (or "blatant enough to basically be canon") works for him.
