A very recent (for once!!!) drawing of Naples, and a slightly different take on him, a bit more lanky and "alien" was the intent.. I think trying to draw him as accurate to his modern design as I can would be a good prompt for next time :> I do sometimes play with my designs a bit, and it's interesting to see how things drift and exaggerate whether intentionally or not.

I was looking through folders and I found these few sketches that I hardly remember making, but I'm actually kinda fond of.

They weren't dated, but my guess is they're from '22, mainly because I know the last two designs are from back when I was still designing my sona, and I didn't finish that process until '23. In my eyes, these do show their age; I draw Naples and Crann way differently these days, but I dunno.. when I took them out, I was endeared to them. (Not usually my reaction to my old art.) It's evident from the first one that drawing felt like a struggle back then just like it can now, but here I was, still drawing my characters despite it.. which is something I've still meant to do more often. Normally I wouldn't have shared these. But.. if ever there were a time to go against unhelpful habits, right? (ó‿‿o)
