HOLIDAY FICS REQUEST

Hello all! With the holidays approaching things can get pretty hectic. From the family get-togethers, to shopping madness, and of course there’s the countless hours spent in the kitchen making all those yummy yuletide treats and meals. You’re eventually gonna want to take a few moments for yourself to kick back and relax right? Well, what better way to do that, than by spending it with some fics about your favorite Cavanagh f/o.

Don’t worry, Cavanaghcharacterxreaderfics has got you covered this holiday season with some festive holiday stories and inspirational gif sets. And while I have already managed to collect a quite a few holiday themed fics, there’s always room for more. So here’s where you guys come in.

Send me your Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years fics. Any Cavanagh Character x Reader pairing. Just send an ask with your suggestions, including self-recs that you’ve written or are currently writing with a holiday theme, and they will be added to the queue for everyone to enjoy. So before things get too busy, go through your ipads, kindles and desktop folders and send those suggestions in. I’m looking forward to reading them.

I’m posting this picture guide in regards to some questions I’ve received.

All of the fics posted or reblogged here are in second person, (character x reader). Anything written in First Person or Third Person is Not a “reader” fic.

A fic written in first person, is based on the author’s point of view and is therefore describing themselves with the character in the fic (ie: “I said”, or “We kissed”), while a fic written in third person would technically be describing either an original character or someone else who is not the reader, regardless of using “Y/N” (ie: “She held his hand”, or “They drove to the store”).

Fics written in second person are specifically for the reader point of view and will always use “you” when describing the reader.
