I’m posting this picture guide in regards to some questions I’ve received.
All of the fics posted or reblogged here are in second person, (character x reader). Anything written in First Person or Third Person is Not a “reader” fic.
A fic written in first person, is based on the author’s point of view and is therefore describing themselves with the character in the fic (ie: “I said”, or “We kissed”), while a fic written in third person would technically be describing either an original character or someone else who is not the reader, regardless of using “Y/N” (ie: “She held his hand”, or “They drove to the store”).
Fics written in second person are specifically for the reader point of view and will always use “you” when describing the reader.
