Not like he expects anything, but Corwin still switches the light switch on. Maybe he just wanted to hear the soft click of it? Who knows. Either way, he'll inspect the generator for a bit, before moving on to the door at the back. He tries to push it open and if that is crowned with a success, look around the room beyond the door.
After trying -- and failing -- to summon any light from the ceiling bulb upon flicking the switch, you take a minute to scope the generator. It doesn’t take long to find it has long since been powered down... and, even with any real aptitude for technology, that might be for the best. The rust encrusting its dust-laden surface suggests that it’s definitely seen better days, anyway. Still, maybe if you could figure out how to start it up, it could be made to work again...
likely at someone else’s expense, but really, who gives a shit about that?
Realizing that you alone aren’t able to make much of it at the present time, however, you move on to the door at the back. As you approach, you are able to note that it seems to be made of some kind of… artificial… plastic… material? Mixed with…
Christ. Pry that off the wall in the aftermath, and you’d be rich for sure.
Still, you try the handle, noting that it’s locked up tight.
The lock at the front is more like a keypad -- and is demanding that you enter four numbers to open the door.
