I have a horrible confession. I am bi, but do not find neither Cate Blanchett or Chris Hemsworth attractive. 🙊 I think maybe they are like too perfect or too pretty. Idk! Is my bi card revoked? 😬

I know I shouldn't be bugged about Cate Blanchett playing a horrible person in Phyllis Schlafly. Mainly because to me, it takes away the wonderful character she played in Carol. It feels like making her into an anti-hero. She set back women's right to this day. It's just like Bombshell. The American viewing public really doesn't like the right-wing women at all. Rant off.
Okay, I just learned that there is a movie about Phyllis coming out starring Cate so I guess thank you for that lol. But also like....what????? Are we trying to pigeon hole actors now??? A person can’t play a queer character and a despicable character in their lifetime??? Am I...am I understanding that correctly??? Two separate roles, completely divorced from each other.
Look, I’m one of the people who thinks Carol is boring as shit. I have fallen asleep both times I’ve tried to watch it. I don’t get the hype. Is it bad? No. Is it fucking Oscar worthy? Absolutely not. It’s an average movie at best so it’s not like I’m defending the character she played in Carol because I’m totally indifferent to it. It’s just that...what??? How are you even connecting the two things kljsdhglkjsdg
Tfw you have a date with Cate Blanchett at the cinema and you hold hands when you walk out and she hugs you for a long time before you go separate ways and you can't go with her because your mum is there to pick you up 🤦♀️. This dream is everything I ever wanted (except for the ending)
