Kit Connor as Cyclops fucking kill me
I think I was his nagging bitch wife
To give Universal its due (which, let’s be honest, I think I’ve more than done. But I digress) it has managed to do two particular things that Disney parks have never managed for me.
1. It’s made me look forward to returning as soon as possible.
2. It’s made me want to revisit these movies and franchises.
And that last one is important. I rewatch Disney movies occasionally, but I don’t really seek them out anymore. And I can’t imagine going to the parks would make me excited to watch them again.
But I left my vacation with a list of films to watch. I’m rewatching the Mummy and The Mummy Returns. I’ve got the Transformers movies on my “to watch” list. I’m looking up Kong:Skull Island, which has me branching out to the new Godzilla movies, both Legendary and Toho. I’m gonna watch Jurassic Park again. Maybe even try Jurassic World. And time for another rewatch of How to Train Your Dragon. I’m gonna dig out Super Mario 3D World and Donkey Kong Bonanza is one of the first games I’m gonna buy when I get a Switch 2.
Tonight I’m watching Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. I had walked away from Harry Potter. Not in a political statement way, but in a “it no longer holds my interest” way. But the Wizarding World area of Epic Universe has me curious. What does Newt Scamander’s story look like?
That is a well made experience.
Do you think Jesus ever look at us and cry? Feeling regret and dread, knowing that Him dying for our sins gave us the time and ability to do this much damage?
Do you think God cries, each time one of His creation get murdered under His name?
Maybe God wishes He wasn't conscious of things, aware of how His creation would turn out. Maybe that's why He banned Adam and Eve after they ate the fruit of knowledge of morality.
frankly upset about the fact that friendships used to be my one (1) relatively safe/stable/not-triggering aspect of my life but apparently god hates me so in 2026 that went to absolute shit and now i have zero (0) safe/stable/not-triggering areas in my life. so. yeah. yay. yippee i guess
as someone who’s solely read marvel comics and only seen the tobey and andrew spidey movies, i decided to follow a watch order for the mcu in preparation for brand new day and uh. i watched endgame today. i now see why everyone was in shambles in 2019. im fashionably late to the party but i get it now. i’m hurting 😭 im hurting BAD
The disinterest and repulsion I feel when I look at anything sexual in any casual sense cannot be understated
