It's day 72 of #100daysofhogwarts, day 11 of #cbrrockyoursummer, and #wipwednesday! Today's prompt: what's your favorite part of your job? Well, I really love getting to make cute little things (like this pile of whales in progress) that make people happy! I have whales that are the Hogwarts house colors, whales that are blue, and even some that are rainbow! The beauty of working with yarn is that I can make a whale (or whatever, really) in any color! I saw this posted on the @yarnspirations Facebook page yesterday and realized it couldn't be more perfect for Day 7 of #cbrrockyoursummer! Day 7 is supposed to be about what I do to relax... knitting and crocheting is definitely my go-to!

Well... I missed day 1 of #cbrrockyoursummer, but it's #makermonday so I'm going to go ahead and introduce myself anyway! Howdy! My name is Heather and I make the handmades! I am a freelance graphic designer by trade and am the maker behind Heathered Handmades! If you haven't figured it out by now, in addition to knitting and crocheting, I really love baseball. My handmade business is a big part of my life, but so is baseball! No, I never played, am not related to anyone who plays, nor am I dating a player. I am just a girl who loves baseball! ⚾ Baseball has brought brought me some of my best friends (hi 👋 @thenerdiyogini & @cosplaymeg!), favorite jobs, and endless amazing people. Aside from baseball, my mutt, Samoa, and my family are pretty important to me, I guess. 😉 Oh... I also really like pizza 🍕, the color purple 💜, and the environment ♻. I think that's enough about me!
