The re-purposing of a (likely) expensive prop. Filmation transformed the Ark II (1976) into the Seeker for Space Academy (1977). Can't blame 'em I guess.
Space Academy debuted on CBS's 1977 Saturday Morning line-up and starred Jonathan (Lost in Space Dr. Smith) Harris as the school's Commander Isaac Gampu. The actress front right is Pamelyn Ferdin, the voice of Lucy Van Pelt in A Charlie Brown Christmas.
