not to be kinda negative here, however I do hope Tubbo forces Philza to choose a faction soon. cus it does feel bm to just stay as purple and cheat your way out of the tasks. he's been live on the server twice now since the factions have been implemented, has been informed about them and even helped the fools kingdom with the clay task.

I get he wants to be a hired woodsman kind of guy who isn't completely loyal but thats literally what the blue faction is all about. being neutral.

there are no consequences for staying purple because no one is supposed to stay purple. i get the other members, who haven't logged in since then, staying purple, but thats pretty understandable why.

even if its about the material fetching, he technically wouldn't need to help since the people in the factions are doing a pretty good job in completing them on their own just fine rn.

I see some people saying that Dream handled himself better this mcc, and while I do agree to some extent, the circumstances of his failures were different this time.  He was incredibly salty last mcc because of perceived wrongdoings against him and his team with the reset battle box and the scuffed poll.  (We know now that there was nothing mcc could do about it, but Dream didn’t know that so he babyraged.  And remained sulky for a long time afterward.)  This time, every time he performed poorly, it was entirely on himself.  Of course he would rage more at “multiple injustices” against his team rather than himself just playing poorly.  While team dynamic probably had an impact on his reactions (as environment has a big influence on human behavior), ultimately, it was the fact that Dream lost fair and square that he wasn’t “toxic” this time around

I don’t really understand why people are so mad at Phil though, let the guy play block game and have fun.

Plus I think Tubbo knows Phil’s going to be gone for awhile so- maybe he’s just giving him time- he’s busy for the Hoildays so Tubbo probably won’t force Phil into a faction, plus I think Tubbo just wants everyone to have fun.

That’s just me though

i know i know it is just block game and fun streams

but phil isn't the only one thats will be busy with the holidays, and maybe he did ask about it beforehand and thats why no one has said anything yet idk how should we know

for me personally it did came across as like "ignoring" the event. when the event started and everyone online had to choose between the factions, everyone who didn't join the first two where automatically put into the neutral one. no one was left as purple

and the stakes being as high as loosing a life, in a hardcore server where staying alive is pretty important, it dose comes across as cheating the system a little.

and its not even the "i want streamer to join this specific group because i want them to", no not at all, i just mentioned the blue faction because it literally is the "i don't want to be involved faction" it is there so its fair to everyone, so everyone has the same amount of risk of loosing a life. so if you don't even join them, what are you supposed to think?

I feel like some people forget that “partner” doesn’t always mean “significant other”.  And yes, dream has a history of tweeting questionable stuff (that people are rightfully upset about), and I’m not denying the fact that the dteam has an unfortunate tendency to bait shippers in their content, but I personally think it’s a little short-sighted to think he was baiting in the same sentence he literally called George first and foremost a friend.

In this case I’m leaning towards the interpretation that Dream is calling George his work partner, which is an objectively true statement.  They are in each other’s videos more often than not(only 3/36 George videos don’t feature Dream and George is in the vast majority of Dream’s videos), and help code each other’s plugins (which are basically the core of what they do on youtube).  So I’m pretty sure he meant “work partner” when he said partner, not to mention how his phrasing also supports this interpretation; “An amazing work partner and even better friend” makes more sense than “An amazing SO and even better friend”.  They’re mainstays on each other’s channels, why wouldn’t Dream call George his partner?

tl:dr, if Dream was really trying to bait this time, he probably would’ve emphasized the more ambiguous ‘partner’ over ‘friend’. Personally, I don’t think Dream was out of line with this one.  Feel free to disagree with me, especially if you’re lgbt+.  I’m not saying your interpretations/feelings aren’t valid, feel however you’d like about his actions, I just don’t agree with the outrage.
