I don't feel like joining the drama, so I'll just say these last things about lindasims cc.
I literally have no idea how you can mix a sim's character files with a normal clothing cc. I don't understand anything about simPe and cc creation, but I want to be clear on two things:
1. the first is that I didn't want to create drama, but I wanted to warn of the enormous risk. I'm sorry because it was inevitable that the word spread like this but I don't want to blame anyone in any way because as a blissfully ignorant I don't know how it works, I only know that those files caused me those problems.
2. People have misunderstood the word "infected". They are not infected with MALWARE, but they do have files that shouldn't fit in simple clothing cc's as they cause these problems. Please don't raise further alarm, my PC is perfectly healthy, there is no malware in those ccs, but two saves died because of those because they have something they shouldn't but in terms of the sims files, not malware and by "die" I don't mean that they became unplayable, because until I checked with HC I would never notice the ch data missing, but with 49+ sim ch files missing my saves would become unplayable shortly thereafter because a save without ch files (especially so many) is already corrupted even if it shows no symptoms still
