Why is Moringmark getting so much hate? The man makes nothing but peak funny little Owl House Comics and occasionally some actual story-driven comics. But I see tons of people saying they hate him or hate his art or that his art has "gone downhill". What the hell happened?
Apparently I didn’t know how strong my feelings about Eri from MHA are. I’m rewatching it now that it’s officially completed, and I get to the end credits of the Season 4 premiere, and the second I saw her behind bars I got an instant burst of rage so bad I tried to do the thing like… idk how to describe but like, 🫸🤛 and then you grab the fist, but I did it too fast and too hard and I ended up just punching my palm so hard the pain calmed me down. So… yeah, I have very strong parental feelings for this fictional child.
So, since I came home and started having my Gender Identity Crisis™, I have had the realization that I have. No idea. How to dress femininely. Like, I have the idea visually, but I have no idea where to start or how to put it together.
I'm gonna have to start taking notes on my friends' wardrobes.
So, on a whim, I decided to watch the Act Your Age episode of P&F. And it got me thinking.
I started watching this show when I was roughly the same age as the characters. They were a not insignificant portion of my childhood. I remember specifically watching it on Netflix because I actually saw the Act Your Age episode airing at my Aunt's and I wanted to check out the show.
That was 10 years ago. The exact length of the timeskip for that episode. I'm now in the exact same boat as these kids, although clearly not as smart. More like the same boat as Buford. I'm starting college in a couple of months.
I grew up with these guys. And watching that episode now makes me feel like they grew up right alongside me.
Of course, that's not gonna stop me from enjoying the new season, which is what actually made me watch the episode in the first place, but ya know. I relate to Swampy in that last little bit of it. At least a little.

So, being demiromantic (or something like that) sucks, and here's why.
I don't like approaching people with the intent of a romantic relationship, so I approach them as friends. This way I can get to know them and figure out if a romantic relationship could maybe work. Sometimes it wouldn't, but they're still a great friend, and sometimes even the friendship doesn't work out.
But then there's the problem of when I do catch feelings for them. Now I'm in a pickle. We're already good friends, and if I suggest feelings, what happens if they aren't mutual? Will it mess up the friendship? What if they never thought of me that way (somewhat likely) and would find it weird? What if they think I'm only friends with them because I like them (not true)?
Why can't I just be normal sometimes?
