“Where the hell did you come from?”

Marceline stood outside the new bar in Keystone City. The neon lights read 'Saint's Sugar Rush'. She was nervous having gone alone. A light breeze blew her plaid skirt. She dusted off her black vest that was over her white shirt. Marceline bit her lip as she stared at the door. After a few moments she walked in. The song playing was 'She Likes Girls' by Metro Station. Marceline had never heard it but she enjoyed it. It eased some of her nervousness but she was still scared. "Rum and Coke please." Marceline ordered as she approached the bar. She took a seat and looked around the place. There were a good bit of women dancing and chatting, but she felt out of place being there alone. Marceline sat quietly at the bar taking a sip of her drink.
Iris was sitting at her computer working on an article and making notes on what needed to be fixed until she heard a ping on her phone. Raising an eyebrow she quickly started texting someone. When she looked up at the Breaking News story on television she smirked seeing Kid Flash zoom into the shot, “Still amazes me,” she whispered to herself. Feeling someone behind her she turned around, “Hi, can I help you?”
“I thought I made it clear I was not to be disturbed today - not even if Ramon was looking for me. So this better be good.”

“Dr. Snow, I got the printer working again and all the patients who have appointments this week have been confirmed. Is there anything else I can do -- oh, hey. Can I help you with something?”
Revenge || Leonard and Jason
He couldn’t believe it. He couldn’t believe this was happening.
Leonard held it together during the hearing, even though he was shocked at the results. He held it together while he and Lisa had driven in grim silence. He managed to call his secretary and have him reschedule all his appointments until next week, and even kept his voice calm. Lisa wanted to be let off at the estate, to see Bruce, and he drove her there.
“Lenny,” Lisa said, touching his arm. He tensed at the physical contact, not sure if he could keep himself from breaking. She withdrew her hand, a worried expression on her face.
“I’ll be in later. I need some time,” he said to her. Then he left. Calls from the family went unanswered.
They didn’t understand. Even now, they couldn’t understand. Lewis was dangerous, and the smile he had flashed at Len and Lisa was a promise for retribution. They were the reason he’d been behind bars, and why his last two attempts at parole had been denied.
He would be coming for them. Unless...
Unless he stopped him first.
He waited until Bruce and the others were already out on patrol, and then he slipped into the cave. It wouldn’t be right to go out in costume to do this. But he did want to leave a message. He didn’t expect any forgiveness for breaking their code. But he hoped there would be understanding.
