Please describe your character’s family dynamics. Quinn is the first born, that meant all the responsibility fell on her shoulders. From the moment she was handed her siblings she knew it would be her job to take care of them, if left up to her parents they would only know their recurring nannies. They would have all been strangers to one another, and while everyone from an early age took care of one another, it was Quinn who was the mother hen and took care of everyone. When their parents failed, Quinn stepped up. Even if she was only a few years older then all of them, she still acted wise beyond her years. Some would say she was an old soul reincarnated into a young woman’s body. Even today she checks up on everyone, her parents to involved in their own lives, so what other choice does she have?

Character Development
Plans for Development.
Quinn is definitely going to find the balls to go back to school and finish her degree, even if it’s working in a local law firm with no benefits, there’s no way the girl can spend the rest of her life bartending, doing it for as long as she has been is bad enough in her mind.
I’m going to need some time to figure out what direction I want her to go in, I think I’ll base it off connections with the other players and things like that. I don’t want to assume she’ll do one thing, and then get lead a different path when a connection friend/love interest is made.
Other.
Allowing herself to open up to people again, it’s going to take a special person, not necessarily romantic, could be platonic for Quinn to open up about how badly she’s fucked up. People know what they’ve read, but they know very little about what happened. Her own brother doesn’t even know about her abortion. She has a lot of regret, and a lot of pain stemming from both incidents, she’s very discreet about it. Behind closed doors she can let go, when she’s out and about, it’s a very different face she puts on.
Character Biography
Quinn Fabray was the first born of Russel and Lydia Fabray, born with a silver spoon in her mouth in none other then Lemon Grove, Florida. Russel and Lydia had plenty of money and no shame in showing it off, lavishing all their children in everything and anything they could, when they weren’t with their nannies of course. In the span of four years the Fabray had their three children and that was that, as Lydia would tell you “The playground is open, but the nursery is closed”. They had their boy, who everyone doted on, their oldest girls included, what more did they need? Two beautiful blonde daughters with plenty of promise and a son who was incredible in sports. It all worked out. Anything the kids needed, they got, going without wasn’t an option. Their faces were widely known and life was easy.
While her brother and sister flourished in their particular niches, Quinn found difficulty in finding herself. She never felt she could relate to anyone in their inner circle, she was a cheerleader, involved in every club their schools had to offer, but at the end of the day, what more was she then the daughter of Russel Fabray. It’s strange for a teenager to have that kind of exponential crisis at such a young age, but Quinn was always an old soul. She kept one eye on her school work (anything to get her out of Florida) and the other on her siblings. Always believing she was born at the wrong time, wrong place, wrong century, odd yes, but this was Quinn and nothing should have surprised those around her.
Until it did. As soon as Quinn graduated, she was out of the sunny state of Florida, and to the land where there are actually more then one seasons. New York. It was her escape, it was where she could truly find herself, and she did, for a long time. She kept in touch with those at home she loved, especially once it was announced she was going to be an Aunt, but for the most part she only went back to Lemon Grove when it was necessary. A law student, Quinn excelled, not quite sure what direction she’d be going in but knowing the path of a lawyer was the one for her. Nothing got in her way…except the professor she was frequently sleeping with, who then wrote her a letter of recommendation for an internship at the Mayor’s office. Had nothing to do with the law, but hell it would look great on her resume. How the press found out she was sleeping with the Mayor, that’s still up to speculation, but they did, and one morning she woke up to her phone blowing up, and pictures of her doing a line of coke in his hotel room with him, as well as few more…hmmm more risqué shots. Until then she hadn’t thought herself to be that girl, but here she was, her father dragged her home, she was nothing more then a humiliation to the family, and oh boy was it about to get worse.
The stick turned pink, the stick turned pink and to this day she’s not sure if it was because of her tryst with the mayor or her professor…her mother convinced her on no uncertain terms to have an abortion, and in desperation (thinking she’d be allowed to go back to New York after) she did just that. An abortion went against everything she believed in, and every time she looks at her niece, she can’t help but be reminded that they wouldn’t be that far apart in age.
Going back to New York wasn’t an option, her pictures on the Daily News cover was enough to get her expelled, but living under her parents’ roof with their disappointment and scrutiny wasn’t an option, instead she took a few bar tending classes at OPCC and found herself a job, and a home. Quinn doesn’t know where she’s going. She’s still as dedicated to her siblings as she ever was, especially so to her niece. She just takes it day by day, figuring it out as she goes along.
