This post is impromptu but necessary.   A few people have asked who the other graduate was next to my Dad and my sister. This is my best friend of 30 years, Vern. She is family and always will be.   Today she did something that most of my family and friends have done that I speak about in my upcoming book.She supports me without telling me, she shows up, and as a business owner, it’s the greatest feeling.   My brother @im_a_business_que always keep me grounded with his ‘Mar-isms” and expressed that sometimes your folks may be dealing with dichotomies and polarities of their own that prevent them from supporting you so I wanted to thank those that have supported my family’s foundation without being asked, whether it was a donation, merchandise purchase, posting my foundation on your personal pages, being a plug or simply just providing a word of encouragement.
