My birthday is this week and I was given a Nicoletta Ceccoli mini tarot deck! It's so creepy and charming and tiny and perfect and I already have a project in mind for them. The images are dreamlike and often unsettling, full of nods to fairy tales and children's literature. I'm so excited to use these! Top image is an assortment of cards from the deck. Bottom left are the Star, the Moon, and the Sun together. Bottom right are three cards that make use of twinning in their imagery (the Hanged Man, the Two of Wands, and the Two of Cups). The Two of Cups is right up a nod to "The Shining," though.

Happy Aries Season, loves! ♈️ At the beginning of the Spring Equinox, I've been feeling like I'm in a pressure cooker. As if things have been coming at me fast, and I feel like it could be this astrological new year. Aries is a go-getting, fire sign, so it's most likely that solar shift of energy lol.

 Also, have you guys been feeling that Venus Retrograde? I must admit, last week, second week into the retrograde, I made some regrettable decisions. Luckily, they didn't affect me too much, so it's all simmered down. I'm sure everyone is surviving the retrograde, right? Because we're all troopers, right? ✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻

This whole deck is rather cloudy, it was hard to choose. But this one looked the most “foggy”, I think.

Two of Swords

I’ve been slaking off on these. 

There are four main themes I can see: blindfolded, on a tightrope, overwhelmed, and contemplation. Blindfolded is definitely the largest group, probably half the cards had a blindfolded woman. 

This is a card of indecision. The I have to make a decision but I don’t know what to choose card. It is my life. It’s being split between a choice, knowing you have to choose but you just can’t decide.

So you ignore everyone hoping that the question will magically disappear, or maybe be made for you. I can’t see you, so you can’t see me!

You feel overwhelmed, it feels like a lot of pressure, too much, too dangerous, you’re being torn, pulled in too many directions. What should you do? Thinking too much tends to send you down the rabbit hole and is a danger in and of itself. You have to make a decision.

The two of swords is a plague of my life. I hate having to make decisions. I have like, 5 people I’m ignoring right now because I have to decide something before I talk to them. Oh shit, I am doing this card. I am hiding away.

Seven of Cups

There is really only one major theme between all my cards: cups filled with different things. Also, different things being offered/I have to pick one of these things.

Choices, here, being the point. Love or riches, light or dark, a martini or a margarita? Also, snakes. A lot of snakes.

How do you pick? There’s so many options, so many possibilities. Do you really have to pick just one? Do you pick that one in front of you, or do you wait for something better? What will you miss out on?

There’s a lot of pressure with this card.

There’s also a fantasy element. Are your choices realistic, or are you just dreaming of something you can’t actually have. Fantasizing about what you want, all your desires becoming a reality. Is it just a dream, or can you actually get it? Are you just wasting your time with what’s real on your daydreams?
