Whenever I’m on hold to Addenbrookes I put it on speaker and trigger everyone else in the MDT room’s PTSD.
It’s this kind of upbeat pop remix of classical music so it’s not quite as bad as the typical mind numbing hold music for your average IT Department... but if you have to listen to it for minimum an hour each time you call, it builds up.
It’s ok, ever since witnessing our FY1 be on hold to them for over an hour and a half I decided to just switch my home hospital on Induction to Addenbrookes and just start calling all the numbers for the department I needed until I got through to someone who could help my patient.
@ Addies Neurosurgeons if you don’t want me to do that JUST LET US REPLY TO YOU THROUGH ORION. WHAT IS THIS ONE SIDED SINGLE SENTENCE WRITTEN DEMAND BUSINESS AND THEN HAVING TO CALL YOU TO RESPOND EACH TIME AND ALSO WHY DOES THE PIN EXPIRE AFTER LIKE 3 DAYS WHAT IS THIS??? 😂
I realise this is a very specific and targeted post, but anyone who knows the very specific struggle I’m talking about will relate to the EXACT struggle.
