who makes the bed: Carlos, Cecil never bothers to since he’s gonna climb right back into bed after Carlos leaves for work lmao

who wakes up first: Carlos, he likes to sit out on the front porch/doorstep in the morning because it’s the most calm thing he can do in night vale

who has the weird taste in music: Cecil, Carlos’ least favorite cassette he listens to in the car is an 8-track of mongolian death worms screaming.  Cecil insists it helps relax him. 

who is more protective: Cecil

who sings in the shower: Both of them

who cries during movies: Cecil

who spends the most while out shopping: Initially, I was going to say Cecil, but, Cecil likes to buy a lot of cheap clothes, but, Carlos likes to buy more expensive things, but less of them, so, I’d say it’s even.

falls asleep on the couch: Carlos-- he gets too caught up in science shows on Netflix and binge watches them until 3am.  Sometimes Cecil gets sucked into them and falls asleep on the floor next to the couch. 

makes friends with the neighbors: Both of them-- Carlos loves to cook for them & Cecil always wants and excuse to wear the gaudiest outfits lmao

is the adventurous eater: Cecil-- Carlos is a picky eater, but will warm up to whatever Cecil's eating after he sees him try it a few times. 

hogs the covers at night: Cecil-- Carlos doesn't understand how he gets so cold when it's only 60 degrees outside. 

forgets to do the dishes: Cecil-- he has memory problems. 

tries to surprise their partner more often: Carlos.  He doesn't like to be surprised, but he loves doing the surprising.

leaves dirty laundry on the floor: Both of them-- their floor is a hodgepodge of lab coats and sequined tube tops.

stays up til 2 AM reading: Carlos, but most of the time Cecil is up anyway doing his own thing, so they sit in the living room together.

sings in the shower: Both of them, but they're both embarrassed when they come out of the shower and the other one is all smiles and heart eyes. 

takes the selfies: Cecil, but eventually Carlos gets really into it and sends Cecil a bunch of selfies whenever he's feeling cute. 

plans date night: Carlos, he loves to make sure there are no surprises.
