A flower mustn’t look unsightly, or no one will stop to admire her beauty...
"A good woman spoke such a saying to me, and I never thought of it to be true as it is… After all, I was born in a time of conquest, when the Romans swept over the lands to add to their collection: To their Empire. I was kept under the great Empire wing along with a few others that I would come to know as kin and friends later on in my life. As the years, or centuries I should say passed, bonds were forged, new faces appeared as others seemed to have faded away to sheer memories of their former glory… Times of peace, had their moments of hardships, blood and sweat. As times of war had their glorious seconds to seize and latch onto, while darker days were to approach. We all had such times and events where there was no one to help you get back up from the aftermath of beast we call war, but it would only make us stronger, I know for certain that it did with me.
I’ve been under many roofs, rules, and wings of fellow nations and of good people. I’ve been banished and scorn just the same, but each event, each person have had taught me valuable lessons over the extensive years since my conjuring. I’ve walked down the road of destruction, of revolution and war many times before, and I am not afraid to do it again. After all, I’m the embodiment of a people that were once one as a whole, now split in two… No matter.
I will still stand. I will not, nor never falter.
Now Darling, shall we take a walk? Or do you still have a few more questions to ask?”
