BIG headcanon is that Joan and Cecily get closer via their walks through the garden together. Like it starts off as Cecily gardening near the castle in her free time and Joan walking through the grounds on guard duty, but then they stumble upon each other and kind of just make a habit out of just calmly wandering around together and getting to know each other more.

Obviously very happy for Percy and his gay awakening but I LOVED him and Cecily together this season. Like, so much. When they said they were a thing I was thrown off because I wasn't expecting it at all but after hearing them interact it downed on me how well they bounce off of each other. The whole scene where Percy is crying over not being a good enough knight and Cecily's saying "Oh it's okay bb you're good at literally everything else" and he's like "you're right, I AM good at literally everything"... Exquisite. Amazing. I loved it. They worked really well. I hope they're still friends cause they were certainly a power couple.

okay but like after the whole dragon fighting/female empowerment time, my girl Cecily absolutely spent the next few weeks just constantly daydreaming about Joan’s strong muscles and Joan’s striking eyes and Joan’s commanding voice and what it would feel like if Joan carried her and just Joan Joan JOAN

I relate to Cecily because I, too, would swoon at the sight of a woman in armor bringing together a group of female warriors and subsequently decide to follow her into battle (and anywhere else)
