Been thinking about Percy/Darling a lot recently which is probably only doing good things for my brain chemistry (<-MASSIVE LIAR)
Sometimes I think about the fact that everything Percy did in season 2 happened only a month after his dad died. Like he was a little shit but holy fuck that was only a month after his dad died.

sad we won't get a fourth two princes season because a) it's beautiful and b) does percy get a bf????
Reasons I don’t like the two princes s2
This is just me venting, I love the first season and obviously respect the creators so much. This isn’t hate, just poorly worded criticism :)
(Also this is from memory, I might get some details wrong oops)
Amir is just not in this season??? They just threw away one of the main protagonists and replaced him with
Chad. I fucking hate Chad, oml. He’s annoying and the morals attached to him don’t sit right with me. They try to make Rupert feel bad for trying to get Amir’s memories back and call him selfish for it??? If you asked Amir now if he is happy he got his memories back I assure you he will say yes. Rupert was trying to revive his dead fiancé and got called selfish for it.
Why did villain whatsherface get redeemed? Her sister was like gurl don’t be evil and she was like you right and now I’m supposed to forgive her? I understand they don’t want to lock her up bc she might plan a revenge again but at least give us an off hand comment like: “wait are we just supposed to forgive her?” “No but just pretend you did I don’t want to deal with this again”
Side note, why were they so quick to dismiss her? I get that when she started to raise the dead some alarm bells went off, but when she said she was the queen and wanted her land back I was just like reasonable. Just check the history books, maybe rent this land as she has no people to rule over.
Why was Chad just a completely different person. Yes I’m back on Chad. I know this is like the nature/nurture debate but are you telling me he changed that much? It’s also unclear how much he remembers of his upbringing. He still knows how to talk, does that mean he still knows the other languages he learned? He still knows how to fight, but that’s muscle memory. I assume he knows manners, does he remeber his study? All the classes he took? How much does he know about the world? I assume that’s what shaped him, together with his mother’s kindness.
When he first lost his memories I was excited. I was expecting him to just return to him before he met Rupert, and that they would fall in love again. I know this is just a repeat of the first season and would be objectively bad, but at least Amir would be in the season. Also I’m a sucker for enemies to lovers and in this version Amir would know Ruperts real identity the whole time, making room for some wacky hijinks
Now to add some things I liked to soften the mood
Cecily and Joan <3333
Amir singing omg
The ending being a reverse of the first seasons ending even though I kind of hate that exchange even in the first season
Percy, I love my morally grey dumb jock
This is all I could think of whoops
percy: *to rupert* so how’s the most beautiful man in the world doing ;)
rupert: i dunno.
rupert: *turns around* hey amir how are you?
percy: :,)
Obviously very happy for Percy and his gay awakening but I LOVED him and Cecily together this season. Like, so much. When they said they were a thing I was thrown off because I wasn't expecting it at all but after hearing them interact it downed on me how well they bounce off of each other. The whole scene where Percy is crying over not being a good enough knight and Cecily's saying "Oh it's okay bb you're good at literally everything else" and he's like "you're right, I AM good at literally everything"... Exquisite. Amazing. I loved it. They worked really well. I hope they're still friends cause they were certainly a power couple.
darling: babe i buyed you something
percy: it's not buyed it's boat
amir, under his breath: my god there's two of them
