It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? #70
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment, and er… add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye’s Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date. And here we are!
What Did I Read This Last Week?
A new world of fae refugees hiding on earth’s plane from the death hounds and one lone pixie has just learned she’s their only hope. Exciting, humorous, and deliciously sexy. Want more!
Simply Love by Mary Balogh
They are both remaking themselves after a horrific past and find friendship and more in each other. Slow out of the gate, beautiful and heartwarming. Loved the reunion with the Bedwyns, too.
Etched in Bone by Anne Bishop
This one was exciting and wonderful for characters and build up of story. It also felt like a long epilogue. Want more from this series!
The Teacher’s Billionaire by Christina Tetreault
Quick, engaging fairytalesque modern romance. She discovers her mother kept a huge secret and her father is a wealthy senator running for president and she’s the family’s potential dirty secret. It was sweet and easy with just enough conflict not to be boring. This billionaire was a gentleman and I liked them together.
Dev1at3 by Jay Kristoff, narrated by Erin Spencer
Talk about action packed twists and turns. This multi-POV middle book was full of grit, excitement, and wonderful characters just like the first. Narrator was perfect for the role.
Death Takes a Holiday At Pemberley by Kelly Miller
Historical Romance, Paranormal, Austenesque
I loved this blend of P&P sequel with Death Takes a Holiday. Excellent development, thoughtful and romantic, and with a sensational follow up plot.
Sweet Dreams by Kristen Ashley
Siren’s Song by Karen Chance
