TOXIC YAOIIIIII
New writeblr game: Turn your OC into a goose!
I'm drawing the Dumbass Squad, and yep. Those expressions are pretty much spot on.
As NaNo approaches, I figured I’d introduce my cast of OCs with some character profiles! First up is one half of the Dumbass Squad; Prince Cedrix and Tim.
Text Version below the read more.
It's been a really long time since I attempted embroidery, but ta-da! It's my Dumbass Prince.
I think I might have a slight picrew obsession?
‘Cos y’all liked my dragon, here’s another excerpt...
“Slaying is typically expected.” Said Cedrix, who was starting to get the hang of this whole dragon-speak thing.
“Okay look, a bird newly hatched doesn’t fly, right, it’s pushed!” Gad took a large, even for a dragon, step backwards. She probably would have taken another, if it weren’t for the small matter of the moat lurking behind her. “I was rolling with loaded die returning like a sprout to the branch of it’s acorn, and then Mum was a rushing river fed by the rains about making me like the ant who carries the leaf, but turns out sociology is as useful as a dragon’s matchstick. Then this contract was seen, and though they share a colour, the bitter fruit has no place in a dragon’s hoard but can still taste sweet? If I had known there would be a joker in the hand that was dealt, even the waterfall would not have worn down the rock below!”
“What?” Said Cedrix, who apparently wasn’t starting to get the hang of dragon-speak at all.
“She said she only took the job to get her mum off her back,” Tim translated, inexplicably understanding perfectly, “And that it was bad enough moving back in with her parents in the first place, but then her mum kept going on about how she needed to get a job, but there wasn’t much available for someone with a sociology degree. Then she saw the advert for this job and thought it was better than nothing, but if she’d known she was going to have to risk her life she would have stayed at home no matter what her mum said.”

So apparently y’all love dragons so much that I have a tag list now? @raevenlywrites @livvywrites thanks for being interested! If anyone else wants including, just let me know :)
I couldn't decide whether I wanted Tim or Cedrix to be taller so I've decided that Tim's dishelved magic causes his height to fluctuate slightly, so sometimes he's an inch smaller than Cedrix, and sometimes he's an inch taller. I imagine Cedrix is the only person who realises this is happening, and he doesn't think it important enough to mention, so everyone else just lives in a constant state of being sure that one of them is taller than the other, but never being able to remember who the taller one is.
(And yes, "everyone else" also includes Tim.)
