I think one of my favourite things about billy is that he is simultaneously babey and a little badtard (affectionate). Also love how despite poking fun at other characters for not aging you cant really age him up? Defeats the whole point in a way if he's not a ridiculously powerful 10 yo

literally like if that freaky little fella isn't an absolutely overpowered little baby god thing then i don't want him!

also there's the original idea behind billy that kids are our most distinguished heroes! they're wise and strong and they want to do the right thing, and we can learn from the youth in areas of kindness and empathy and that's billy's whole thing. which is way more philosophical then this calls for i think but it's also real and i know you'll understand crumpet <3.

but yeah if that guy who wields the power of the gods isn't also a tiny little fella just a devious little guy then it's not billy

the idea of a dude just becoming a different, bigger dude isn't NEARLY as incredible as the baby becoming a fuckin demigod. billy batson is genuinely the character ever for real

Lowkey, I think a teen-like horror show about speedforce things featuring Linda, Wally, and Hartley would be fantastic. We already have the happy death day AU, now we can have them dealing with cults like god intended. Like I think keystone (city) high in the yj verse is a hellscape but only the students and staff know that and learn to live with it.

i've always maintained that speculative sci-fi is about two degrees from magical realism/fantastical realism and i really think the flash lore is basically that idea. like the idea that this living-breathing-thing connects all living people to reality and space-time is so good. like that's so magical realism. i love it. and it's also science. even better.

An AU I’ve always wanted is JLU Wally meeting the flashes of yjtv…

Also I’ve always kind of wanted an short one shot of JLU Clark and Wally talking about justice lords incident and he just turns to him completely serious “I wouldn’t want to be avenged that.” / “I know that.” / “okay, I just wanted to clarify so that we’re on the same page.”

Ya ever like think, the justice lords may have not had a body to bury because Wally went back to the speed force.

So all they would have is a empty casket and guilt and sadness and anger.

just imagining them at his funeral standing in front of the empty casket and the guilt and the grief is so overwhelming for so long.

i'm guessing batman would throw himself into the multiverse theory to see if he can find any other universes at all - then having a dream about the jlu verse and realizing that wally’s still alive in this other world, in this reality wally’s okay and maybe if he can find them, he can save wally by making sure that league doesn’t pull their punches. 

and, at the end of the day, bruce misses his friend and thinks that maybe things can go back to the way they were if he’s there, so while the lords show the league true justice, he steals away with their flash to make sure he can’t get hurt, to make sure he can’t disappear on him again. 

(and maybe that theory means that their wally is out there somewhere, maybe he’s still alive, trapped in between time and space, or lost in another reality, because, if there’s no body, can you ever be sure someone’s dead?)

To add on to that, speedsters feel when other speedsters are in pain and their instinct is essentially go to them and help them, like this was canon for a whole. Bart was having a rough day and then the whole family showed up to help him feel better though I don’t have the panel on me.

Also it’s canon in the new Wally run that Jay is “Poppy” to Jai and Irey, and when Wally Jai and Irey were missing Linda called Jay and Bart ran out to look for them. FAMBLY! I like to think Joan is either Grammie or Grandma…wests found dead the Garrick’s are Wally’s kids grandparents now

Also the twins call Bart uncle Bart and he hates it so much. Wally encourages it.
