Hey guys,
I decided to make a studyblr as I’ve really been lacking in motivation this past year. Overall I’m hoping to gain some inspiration, learn some new study tips, and hopefully meet some cool people from the studyblr community :)
I guess I’ll start by telling you all a little bit about myself!
-My name is Priya, I’m 19 years old, and live in Canada
-I just finished my second year of university working towards my Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours)
- My current academic goal is getting admission into medical school and hopefully becoming a doctor (although I’d really enjoy any career in the health care field)
-I’m a big fan of anything ultra geeky (Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Star Trek etc.)
-My favourite sport is MMA
- I like literally all types of music but recently have been pretty obsessed with Kpop
These are a few blogs that have inspired me so far:
@studytherin @estudier @studydiaryofamedstudent @aestudier @ceestudies @studyquill @universi-tea
And a super special shoutout to my amazing cousin @dungeonstudy who motivated and helped me to start this studyblr <3
I need some more studyblrs to follow so feel free to like or reblog and I’ll check your blog out! Thanks :)

Hey! I love your blog, I'd honestly reblog everything :D Do you have any tips on how to deal with your social life when you're studying? Do you cut everyone out or do you take short breaks with your friends? what's your usual solution to problems created by the fact that you're not available/don't have time for your friends/family/boyfriend/girlfriend? Thanks :)
bless you!
(below is my experience during the year i took my national exams so my schedule was super packed)
i am actually blessed with friends that takes their studies very seriously. so we don’t mind not hanging out for months (we understand each other). we see each other in school everyday hence meeting is no problem. as for friends outside of school, they’ll have no choice but to wait for a holiday or until i finish my examinations to hang out with me. i think that anyone should be understanding when it comes to studies. no, i do not cut my friends out totally because your social life is also important. we go out for lunch every other week together after school and we take that time to catch up and chill. as for family, we go out every other weekend on one condition (which is to finish all my school work beforehand). keyword: understanding.
solution: there is no solution honestly. like what i mentioned above, if (your whoever) loves you and cares about you, they’ll understand. they’ll know that your studies comes first for the time being. after your exams you can do whatever and go out whenever. just explain to them the importance of your studies.
but do remember to take some time off from your studies because it’s not very effective to stick your nose up your book for so long. you’ll end up stressing yourself. keyword: destress.
hope this helped you solve your issue!
