In Irish mythology, Cethlenn was a Fomorian who was the wife of Balor and the mother of Ethniu. She was known as "Cethlenn of the Crooked Teeth."
A clairvoyant, Cethlenn warned Balor that he would be defeated by the Tuatha Dé Danann and Battle of Mag Tuired. In some versions of the legend, Cethlenn was a part of the battle, where she wounded the Dagda with a spear.
