I slept until 10 a.m. Arizona time. That's 1 p.m. New York time. Feelin' like a boss.

My parents have a bowl of mini candy bars, and it's all the good ones. Peanut butter cups, Twix, Kit Kat, Snickers, etc. IT'S STARING AT ME.

I spent yesterday with @celestegivesup. She/her coach/friends taught me how to jerk (can you not), and then we grilled and spent a while in a hot tub. I miss working out with you all the time, Clst.

I didn't pack a bathing suit, so I wore one of Celeste's bikinis. Good god I felt exposed.

My brother, nephews and stephaniedenny are coming to town tonight!

But first I'm taking my mom out for a late Mother's Day dinner at my favorite place in Phoenix.

I got new jewelry for my tragus and forward helix piercings. Tiny little diamonds. So precious.

I'm talking to the calligrapher who is drawing my next tattoo. Holy crap, I'm excited. Spoiler: it's Harry Potter themed

My mom has a huge stack of magazines. Food Network Magazine is surprisingly entertaining.

I think she's making cookies soon. Send help.

wait, it's friday?

My J. Crew Factory order came yesterday. Everything fits! Your sizing might be crazy, J. Crew, but it's usually reliable.

Do yourself a favor and get this sweater. So cute and comfy and work appropriate (for me, at least) with a skirt. Be warned, they run big. I got a small because I wanted it to be loose and it's right on the brink of too big. Anyway,  I'm wearing it with this skirt.

I was running late this morning and didn't have time to make coffee or eat breakfast. NOPE. I'm going to run for coffee in a minute, don't worry.

Work is going well! This is the kind of job where very little is set in stone each day, which means I always have a to do list a mile long and the hours go really quickly.

Can we talk about how great it is walking home for lunch? IT'S REALLY GREAT. 

I didn't have time to work out yesterday (I had to stay a few hours later than I expected), so I'm itching for a workout today. I think I'm going to do the heathy eating challenge cheat WOD and CrossFit. I can't say no to hang power cleans. (Sorry celestegivesup, I know you hate power anything.)

I made a protein smoothie last night, and the whey made me look seriously pregnant. Ugh.

OK, I can't take it any more. Coffee time.

wut r ur best eyeliner tipz? mine keeps smudgin' on my upper eyelid. also: wut is the google?

I’ve got a couple tips:

buy an eyeshadow primer OR smear a dot of concealer/foundation on your eyelid, then sweep a bit of skin-toned eyeshadow or loose face powder on top to set

powder over liner always helps it stay in place better; get yourself a matte black (or brown or whatever color the liner is) eyeshadow and press or sweep a bit over the liner with a thin brush

Good news! Never would have thought of the different arm thing. I always have them use the left.

Who knew, right!? I was flabbergasted, but apparently it's a common thing. From what the doctor said (and I confirmed it online with reliable sources), a 5-10 point difference is normal. More than that is cause for concern, but a variance is normal.

in news that will shock no one: i'm tired

Asleep a little after 9, but it's just not enough when I'm up at 4. Tonight I'm getting in bed at 8. I once again avoided breakfast sandwiches this morning. I had an apple and a banana for breakfast, and I've got some breakfast-sausage-crust quiche for lunch. It's so good, you guys. I started reading "The Happiness Project." I'm not too far in, but I like it so far. Thanks for the suggestion, celestegivesup and ugwbliss. I have a meeting after work, and I may have to get Chipotle for lunch. I found ripe avocados for $1 yesterday. Hallelujah. It's supposed to snow this afternoon. Please no.
