✦ At first, Lucifer thought that everything might just go smoothly for once. You seemed generally polite and conscious of your circumstances, not at all like his trouble-making brothers.
✦ But you were only human. And temptations would be around every shadow-y corner of the Devildom... He just didn't expect you to immediately go head-first into the most personally affecting ones for him and his family.
•The experiences of alterhumans of color get almost zero representation in the wider alterhuman community and that's really something that needs to change. This sounds like one of those pandering posts, though it really is not. My experience as an indigenous otherkind identifying individual is vastly different than the experiences of white alterhumans, due to my connection with my indigenous culture and because of my involvement in irl indigenous spaces, though documentation of experiences like mine are practically non-existent in the alterhuman community. Essays and discussions of non-white otherkin experiences often get no traction or are just buried between tons of other posts. This, coupled with the fact that mostly white spaces can sometimes be intimidating for people of color (myself included!) to talk about non-white experiences in, presents a serious problem. Being an ally to alterhumans of color often stops when it's personally inconvenient for someone, and that gets absolutely exhausting to deal with.
•Indigenous alterhumans are so fragmented across the alterhuman community, for example. There is almost nothing in indigenous otherkin tags, either because our experiences aren't seen or because ignorant people have forced us into silence. We don't have our own spaces, we don't get to discuss our experiences without a bodily white person in the community saying something like "I'm 1/10th cherokee, ya bro I feel you there". Even talking about discrimination we face can get us into an argument if we don't phrase ourself in a perfect way. Indigenous alterhumans being so fragmented across the alterhuman community is part of why I'm starting a digital powwow for indigenous alterhumans to share their experiences, though I don't want to be the only one sharing my experiences with being indigenous and otherkin. I really want this community to get to a point where indigenous alterhumans feel safe to talk about their experiences without fear of judgement or the fear of facing ignorance. I want to see panels about the experiences of alterhumans of color other than the ones I've hosted myself, our experiences are important to be heard in the community!
•In spite of being minorities in our own community and in spite of everything else though, I really do want to encourage my fellow alterhumans of color to share their unique experiences with the community. Our voices deserve to be heard and appreciated, even if we are so fragmented across the community. If you do face ignorance from anyone, try not to let it stop you from sharing your experiences and expressing yourself. I really want to see more essays from alterhumans of color, I want to see indigenous alterhuman experiences being brought into the spotlight, it's even important to discuss the challenges of feeling alone in a mostly white community. I mean hell, there's only one other indigenous maya person I know throughout the entire alterhuman community. Try not to let ignorance or fear discourage you from being your authentic self in this community. We shouldn't be suppressed nor fragmented in our own communities!

•After ages of attempting to put these feelings into words, I decided to write an essay detailing my sacred connection to the eagle as a nonhuman identifying, indigenous Maya traditional dancer. These writings are a part of a personal effort of mine to make indigenous experiences in the alterhuman community more visible. Keep in mind that this connection of mine cannot be fully explained with words, it's a powerful connection that calls to both my indigenous blood and my nonhumanity in beautiful ways that I cannot encompass with words. What I wrote is just the tip of the iceberg.

•Greetings and welcome to my tumblr blog, traveler! My name is Luunaathh, and it is a pleasure to see you here! This is my pinned post, where you will find all the information you need to know about my being! I am a friendly being and will not bite unless provoked, so do feel free to send my being a message!
•I am draconic. Upon this earth I am a tiny fragment of a non perceivable, celestial draconian being who I have named "Luunaathh". A representation of Luunaathh I drew is shown, though it is purely based on intrinsic knowledge due to her metaphysical nature. She is extremely radioactive due to her stellar nature and has her own draconian language, which noticeably features repeating vowels, one that I am still in the process of learning. I am forever loved and taken by my eternal mate who I call Auullthhuunnaakk, he is Luunaathh's mate. I am living upon this earth to collect of the earth, purely for the interest of Luunaathh, so in essence, I am her little spy that she sends to different worlds. Though I am not the only incarnation of her celestial essence.
•I am a werewolf spiritherian, I go by Naauurraauukk as my wolf aspect and I have lived multiple lives as this wolf. I lived in mountainous areas with harsh winters and powerful summer storms. I was the godmother to many ravens and eagles, since so many followed my being around on my hunts, looking for scraps. Due to these experiences as my werewolf aspect, I developed a strong relationship with eagles, a connection that ties into my indigenous heritage as well. The eagle is my guide in this life, teaching my being to always continue on the path of the red road in a good way, to always continue doing what I can for the people, to aim to be as wise as he is. •I am meant to become a bearded vulture to fly alongside Eagle in the spirit realm when this human life comes to an end. This was revealed to my being as I connected with Eagle and the feathers he and the (draconic) creator gifted my being. My experiences with connecting with the animal I am meant to become are intertwined with my celestial draconity. This aspect of myself is something I am meant to unravel as I walk this human life, and something to be fully revealed at the end, when my journey walking the red road as a human ends.
•I am a jaguar spiritherian with a strong connection with Tezcatlipoca, the mesoamerican sacred entity of the smoking mirror, the north, and jaguars. My jaguar self lived during the time of the ancient maya, and is directly related to my indigenous heritage. She became a spirit by Tezcatlipoca'a will and saw mesoamerican culture up until the start of colonization, when she could not handle seeing the carnage happening to indigenous peoples.
•I am a indigenous mesoamerican ceremonial dancer, and have been for a few years now. My heritage is indigenous Maya, though I engage with the mexica danza culture, or danza azteca as it is more commonly known. I dance not as a human, rather I dance as an animal, invoking the energy of the jaguar, the vulture, and the wolf. These days however, I dance very little due to my worsening knee injury. I participate in ceremony in other ways and I devote myself to archiving and sharing indigenous knowledge. I am always open to answering all good faith questions about indigenous culture. If I cannot answer a question you have, I will direct you to resources or folks that can answer your question. I have an indigenous resources masterlist of over 600 reputable and vetted indigenous sources that I created to aid in the vital preservation of indigenous culture. I am also ethnically jewish (matrilienal) who is well versed in the culture (though not culturally connected)
•I am a draconian pagan, I worship three draconic creator divinities who I honor in the ancient ways of the draconic beings of my home world, who I have come to call the almighty infinite one, the almighty tempest one, and the almighty volcanic one. My draconic path is something that is very important to my being, hence you will not see my being share much about the very specific rituals I do unless you are a very close friend. I am happy to discuss the basics of it, however!

I suffer from severe mood swings, severe paranoia, psychotic episodes, and manic highs and lows. I have done my best to keep these symptoms under wraps, though sometimes the mask slips. The way I act is sometimes influenced by the severe mental disorders I suffer with, so please keep that in mind.
