POV: You’re a student cutting class and you find yourself in the Coastal Biome during Chapter 49 🌪️
@polarbearauri you forced my hand! You shouldn’t have given me the Spinjitzu idea for that sand tornado scene. I’ve been thinking about it all day and I finally created this "masterpiece" of an edit. 😂
Huge thanks to my reader for such a hilarious idea! 💖

Welcome to today’s Chapter Trivia, dear readers! Though, to be honest, it feels more like a pre-anniversary special. 🥳🎉
Even if it’s not the actual anniversary yet, I really wanted to kick things off with a piece of fan art!
This drawing actually hides some tiny little teasers inside, but they aren't that major—I honestly just added them because I felt like it. 🤭 I wanted it to have that manga cover or promotional poster vibe for the fic, and I’m super happy with how it turned out! I included what I consider to be the main elements of the story, almost as a way to look back at the adventure we’ve experienced together so far (and the one we’re about to experience!).
Though, I’ll be honest, coming up with an idea I actually liked wasn't easy. I felt so anxious because I wanted to create something truly special for this first pre-anniversary. But in the end, I told myself: "If I keep overthinking and falling into indecision, I risk not making anything at all." 🥺
Either way, I’m incredibly happy to have made it this far! But it’s still a bit too early for big speeches, so for now, let’s just enjoy the fan art! 💖
As for Chapter 53 itself, even though it was a bit complicated to write, I had a blast with the Inverse Battle! I guess you can tell from my writing just how much I love Lacey (and also how traumatized I still am from facing her for the first time). I truly find her quizzes and the creative ways she turns the tables so adorable and fun!
That’s why I gave her such an unique battle format; I feel like it’s exactly something Lacey would do in canon if she could (with proper regulatory approval, of course, because we all know how strict and respectful of the rules she is!).
But she isn't the only Elite Four member I loved writing in this chapter.
I also had so much fun with Drayton’s moments, especially when he sensed the presence of a dangerous Dragon-type inside the Master Ball that Lilac refused to use during the fight. 🐉 I feel like Dragon-type experts just have that kind of sixth sense, and honestly, it’s so cool! It makes me appreciate Dragon-types so much more.
By the way, the fact that he is canonically stated to be stronger than Lacey and her Fairy-types is mind-blowing! Our bro Drayton might look lazy, but when he gets serious, he MEANS BUSINESS. 😎🔥 Plus, I’m so excited to finally share his background for this fic, since his time to shine has officially come! But yeah, the fact that he managed to beat Lacey with Dragon-types—while I literally suffered through three consecutive losses against her—earned him my utmost respect. 😂🙌
Thank you so much for reading this Trivia

⚠️ (This message applies to everyone who follows this blog.) ⚠️
It seems that this time I need to step in not as the narrator Kyuk0n, but as the author of ELTZ.
I am truly happy and grateful that people are enjoying my fanfic so much. Answering questions here and reading your comments on AO3 is wonderful and really brightens my day, but lately, I feel things have been going a bit too far.
Roleplaying is fun every now and then and it’s good creative practice for me, but please don't forget that behind the characters' replies, it’s always just me, the author. I’m the one creating them, and maintaining that mindset takes a lot of mental energy.
I know readers are curious about what will happen next and that talking to the characters makes people feel part of the story, but I feel this is becoming a bit overwhelming. I can't reveal what happens later on—otherwise, what would be the point of writing the fic? Plus, this blog wasn't born as a pure roleplay account; it’s meant to be a personal diary about the behind-the-scenes and trivia of the AU, with only occasional character interactions.
I don't want to offend anyone, but I need to set some healthy boundaries for myself. Therefore, I ask everyone who follows me to please refrain from asking too many questions looking for hints, and to stop sending roleplay questions directed at the characters.
Talking to them won’t change the plot, the roleplays don’t influence the direction of the fic, and I can’t give away clues because I risk ruining details that are much better left experienced blindly.
You are still more than welcome to ask questions about the AU on this blog and comment under the chapters on AO3! Just please don't overdo it, don't always address the characters, and remember that this is an author-to-reader relationship. As a creator, I need to protect my story and my personal comfort by setting these boundaries.
Thank you so much to everyone for your understanding and continuous support! 💜
Okay, I was playing the new Tomodachi Life just to have some fun, and I stumbled upon these two scenes that I absolutely had to share with you all.
This scene reminds me so much of a magical girl transformation, especially Sailor Moon! 🎀✨ As a fan, I just had to show you because it's so beautiful!
This other scene involves Kieran and Carmine, and it’s just too funny for me—I seriously love these two and their shenanigans! 🤣🤣🤣
Anyway, I just wanted to post these because they are fun. And while I'm at it, I wanted to let you know that my elbow is really recovering! 😊 I've started working (though still being careful with physical efforts) on a project I already mentioned in a previous post (the one about the OC guide).
Today, a family member of mine was cleaning a room and, inside an old drawer, they found several notebooks from my childhood that I used when I first started drawing.
Finding my very first drawings felt amazing. For years, I wondered where they were, and I honestly thought they were lost forever and that I’d never see them again.
But here they are, right in front of my eyes! I'm so happy! ❤️❤️❤️
Sadly, this happiness was quickly ruined by this family member, who called them useless.
"You should throw them away. What's the point of keeping them if nobody looks at them? They just take up space and they're just doodles."
You have no idea how deeply those words hurt me. My heart broke 💔, especially because this person is a close family member who should know how important art is to me. They literally see me drawing every single day. Yet, what are precious memories and my very first steps into the art world to me, are just stupid notebooks and useless pieces of paper to them.
I think that's one of the most painful things you can say to an artist—that their drawings are worthless if they aren't perfect or if they don't make money.
These are some of my first drawings and OCs that I ever created. Sure, maybe they aren't the most incredible drawings in the world; they don't have shading, lighting effects, or perfect line art, and they aren't digital like the ones I make today. But it's thanks to them that my art is what you see on this blog today. And I won't let someone who doesn't value my hobbies tell me they have no worth. It's just so unfair! 😔
I'm sorry if this post is a bit sad or angry. I usually try to always show the positive sides of art, but today I really needed to vent. Since I know many artists follow this blog, I really wanted to talk about this with you guys. It's truly painful to have these clashes with people who, in theory, should support you and know you better than anyone else.
Do you guys also have old drawings or any kind of art supplies/materials that you've kept since childhood? What do they mean to you?
Thank you for reading this little vent. Having this blog where I can talk about my passions, knowing there is someone on the other side who shares them, really helps me not feel alone in moments like this. 🥹
One of my readers commented with this meme on a scene where Lilac finds Kieran’s note in chapter 31.
He basically told her: "Don't go into the Terarium at night, it's forbidden!"🛑
Lilac, eyes fixed on a Minior: "That sign won't stop me, because I can't read!"
Honestly, this meme is so incredibly accurate for Lilac and her habit of wandering into dangerous places that I just HAD to recreate it. I'm still laughing! 😂
Okay, NOW I’m actually crying. 😭💖
And it’s not because of the numbers. Yes, I knew I’d probably hit 1,000 hits this week with the new chapter, but the number itself isn’t what’s moving me — it’s the thought that so many people are truly interested in my story. That you’re interested.
When I started posting Everything Leads to Zero, I honestly thought it would be a quiet little fanfic with just a handful of readers. I kept thinking, “Of all the Dipplinshipping fics out there, why would anyone care about mine — especially one with an OC protagonist instead of Juliana?” But my love for storytelling wouldn’t let me stop. So despite all the anxiety, all the inexperience, and all the “what ifs,” I took the leap and posted it anyway, with just one tiny hope in my heart:
“I hope this can entertain someone. I hope it moves someone, even just a little.”
And now, about six months later… I feel like I’ve actually done that. 🥹✨
I’ve made new friends. I’ve discovered that I love sharing my creative passions — something that used to terrify me. And I’ve learned that touching others through my stories and drawings makes me feel truly fulfilled in a way I never expected.
If someone had told past-me, “You’re going to join a social media site, publish a fanfic, and genuinely enjoy every little interaction,” I would’ve said, “Dude… what are you smoking? That’s definitely not me.” 😂 But it is me now. And I’m so, so glad I did it, because it’s helped me in ways I can’t even describe.
So thank you — not just for following the fic, but even for taking a moment to read this tiny post. Even a quick glance means the world to me. 💗🌟
The Writer’s Dilemma: Balancing Reader Expectations and Narrative Intuition
Lately, while reviewing the drafts for the Area Zero arc—one of the most important and pivotal moments in this fanfic—I’ve found myself thinking a lot about the narrative decisions I’ve made for this part of the story.
In particular, there is one specific decision that has always scared me, mostly because of the high expectations I feel from you, my readers. I won’t spoil anything, but I know many of you are expecting a certain development to happen right during this arc, because at first glance, it seems like the most logical step. I can easily see readers wondering, "Wait, we are in Area Zero and Lilac still hasn't gotten any hint about that specific thing?"
As an author, this choice has caused a massive internal conflict. Part of me wants to please you and deliver exactly what you are expecting right now. However, my writer's intuition is loudly telling me that rushing this reveal would completely burn its impact.
It’s not just a matter of this arc already being packed with heavy events; it’s about a future plot point waiting for you in the third arc. If I revealed it now... well, I would seriously risk ruining the entire finale and its emotional weight.
I believe the struggle between wanting to please your audience and needing to follow your creative gut is one of the hardest parts of being a creator. Now that I’m writing and publishing my very first fanfic, I realize this more than ever. Every time I read another author's story or play a narrative-driven video game, I catch myself thinking:
"I wonder what tough choices this writer or developer had to make, finding themselves in the exact same position I am in now".
I finally understand how it feels, and I respect their work even more.
Ultimately, I believe that in situations like this, the best choice is to trust your own writing instincts. Even if readers might not fully understand the meaning behind a choice at first, it's because you don't have the full, big-picture view of the story just yet. But I promise you, every piece of the puzzle will fall into place exactly when it's meant to. 💜
